Out of all the snarky articles written since Friday about Prometheus, this Playlist article stands out because it breaks down the good and the bad aspects of the film, according to those who have issues with the film. Some films need to be viewed a second time at the theater so that the viewer can have a true appreciation and understanding of what the film is about. And that is the case with Prometheus. A lot of people love it as is, but there are many people who found many faults with the film and therefore dismiss it as a complete disappointment. Some concerns and issues are very valid, others are nit-picky and irrelevant.
Be that as it may, we're all entitled to our opinions about movies. And that's why I want to give a fair shake and share the Playlist article with FF readers so that they can see a half-serious and half very-comical critique about Prometheus. However, before I do that, I found an article on Ridley Scott from RTE explaining that he enjoyed making Prometheus so much, he can't wait to make the sequel. Note that screen-writer Damon Lindelof's comment is very telling:
And yes, as Damon anticipated, Prometheus has left a lot of viewers frustrated for various reasons, but again, the film standing as is, has a lot of fans as well.
To read the Playlist article, go here. It is chock-full of SPOILERS, so be warned, but it is very funny and brutally frank. I still stand by my decision that Prometheus is a great film and I can't wait to see it again later this week!
Lastly, the June 8th episode of The Charlie Rose Show featuring Michael and Noomi - you can go here, to see it. Just click on their segment and you're ready to go.

The filmmaker revealed that he enjoyed making the sci-fi blockbuster so much that he wants to work on a follow-up, although he admits that he has no idea what he would do to extend the story.
Speaking to Collider he said: ''I really enjoyed it so much, I really want to do the sequel, it's interesting to do a sequel because it leaves the door so open to some huge questions.
Screen-writer Damon Lindelof recently stated that he had to work hard to leave the movie open to a sequel saying: ''Ridley was very interested in talking about, 'What are the answers to the questions that Prometheus is posing that are not necessarily definitively spelled out in the body of 'Prometheus'?'
''I said to him, 'We should be prepared for people to feel frustrated if we're going to be withholding, so we have to be very careful about what we're saving for later', because it's not a foregone conclusion that there are going to be sequels.''
