EDWIN EPPS, of whom much will be said during the remainder of this history, is a large, portly, heavybodied man with light hair, high cheek bones, and a Roman nose of extraordinary dimensions. He has blue eyes, a fair complexion, and is, as I should say, full six feet high. He has the sharp, inquisitive expression of a jockey. His manners are repulsive and coarse, and his language gives speedy and unequivocal evidence that he has never enjoyed the advantages of an education.

Right now, Michael is in Louisiana bringing to life Edwin Epps. And when we last saw him, he was skinny as a stringbean with a Germanic nose. Just like how we accepted his portrayal of moody but very handsome Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre, we'll accept him as a supermodel version of Edwin Epps. Yesterday, it got up to 105 degrees here in Michigan, which is just about 900 miles north of Louisiana, so I know it was messed up hot down there. I hope Michael is coping well with the heat. He doesn't like the 'constant fucking sunshine' of LA, so the constant fucking heat of the South may be a new 'pet hate' for him. ;-)

There's just a few more hours to vote in the current Prometheus poll, and it's great to see that the overwhelming majority of fans loved the film. I will try to see it for a third and final time at the theater this weekend.

At Hollywood.com, even before the latest Daniel Craig Jame Bond movie, 'Skyfall' comes out this fall, they are starting up new speculation about who will replace Daniel. Like I have stated before, I absolutely love Daniel as the current Bond and I'm in no rush to see him move on from that role, he's perfect. However, the article at the link is strongly favoring Michael, and if Christopher Nolan were to direct a Bond film with Fassy,... watch out, that could be a mindblowing awesome new direction for the franchise. We'll just continue to play the wait and see game. With Michael committed to the X-Men films, and possibly with a sequel to Prometheus, I don't know if he'll have the interest or the time to commit to another franchise.

Starting on Monday, July 2, I will start my summer course for my Master's program. It's 15 weeks squeezed into 7 1/2 weeks, so I'll be very busy and stressed out a bit in doing coursework for that class. But I'll still be around. It may be quiet on the Fassbender Front as he'll be filming TYAS for the next 8 weeks or so, but we'll keep ourselves updated on him as much as possible.

BTW, if you haven't noticed, the link to my Ireland pics have been posted up at Pinterest. Please check them out at your leisure.
