December is just around the corner and that will start off a lot of critics year end nominations and winners announcements. For next week, there is the New York Film Critics Circle winners on Dec 3rd, and the following day, the National Board Review on Dec 4th, followed by a week later, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association on Dec 8th. If Michael's performance in 12 Years a Slave has him coming out strong in all or at least 2 of these as the winner, he'll be the front runner for the Oscar. If not, it's going to be a hand-wringing Oscar season and I'm going to need to drink a lot of Yogi stress release tea.
I'm still working on my research papers, so bare with me while I'm not as active in these remaining few weeks of grad school.
