Another week has passed without much news on Michael Fassbender. The Fassbender Google alerts have been quite pathetic and useless. However, with the exception of the two new pins posted by Rachel S at Pinterest, it is evident that Michael has fine tuned his ability to steer clear of the paparazzi when he wants to, and that's good for him.

His next film release, Frank, will be out in the US on August 16th, and it's not too late to order your 'Keep Calm and Watch a Fassbender Film' t-shirt from Limelight Impressions. I plan on wearing mine to the theater when I go see it for the second time (first time was at the LA Film Festival in early-June). The Toronto Int'l Film Festival released more film titles on Tuesday, and so far, still no 'Slow West'. The final round of films will be announced over the next week and a half or so, and chances look slim that Michael's film will show there. But that's ok, I'm all set for my 11th straight year in a row in attending TIFF.

I'm all moved into my new apartment and I'm happy as a clam. I'll lay low this weekend with finishing up unpacking some boxes in my SPARE bedroom. I have so much space now that I don't know what to do with myself. I have one big box of all the magazines I bought that has Michael on the cover or featured inside the magazine, it's my little Fassy Library and I need put it in a special place.

I'm sad that it's already August, why in the hell does the summer months go by so fast, but yet winter lingers around like a weird unwanted visitor.
