I'm not very calm. I am stressed out over final papers that are due on Tuesday, as well as a class presentation. But, that doesn't mean you can't Keep Calm. I won't be around much this weekend, so...

These fans all are quite lucky to have had the opportunity to hang out with Michael Fassbender this weekend in Buenos Aires. But they're all quite sad, ridiculous...

pathetic
and selfish because...

None of them are showing off their Fassinator pride by wearing a damn 'Keep Calm and Get Your Fassbender' on t-shirt! The travesty!

Where were these pictures taken and why was Michael there, with so many regular people humans who seem to be fans? Why can't this happen in the United States?

Michael Fassbender still hanging out like a Regular dude!

Buenos Aires

San Sebastian
Here are two more pictures of Michael on holiday in Buenos Aires with the luckiest people on the planet, he'll be there throughout the week and then on to filming X-Men: Days of Future Past.

For me, today marks the finale of a stressful past 5 weeks. In this time period alone, I read 41 Media/Communication journal research articles, skimmed 6 books, read 12 chapters from my Health Communication book, on top of writing 4 papers, (3pgs, 7pgs, 9pgs, and 26pgs), and creating a powerpoint presentation for tonight.

I've been a bad and busy mofo!

And I still  had time for my FF shit! LOL! Yes, Simone is having a meltdown, adrenaline gone through the roof!

Tonight, I'll sleep like a baby without the aid of a muscle relaxant. I had a nightmare last night due to the horrors of Boston (thoughts and prayers), and my stomach is current upset leading up to my presentation tonight. I am so damn tired of being tired and stressed out. After this, now I can just plan my London/Paris trip. I just wanted to share this with you.

No Cannes do for TYAS

Just a short while ago, the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival announced its film list for this year, and unfortunately, as previously feared, Twelve Years a Slave will not be in competition. Without it's participation, it leads us to believe that director Steve McQueen is still editing the film. With a December 27th release date, TYAS is in prime condition to debut at Toronto and New York in September, since those are the last two of the major world stage film festivals. I haven't completely ruled out Venice yet, since it is just a week before TIFF, but we'll see.

Lastly, I am freeeeeeeee! My last class was last night and it was a fun one. I am strongly confident that I maintained my perfect 4.0 GPA as I enter into the final home stretch this fall with my graduate project, and my final class of organizational communication. So in honor of this accomplishment, I am posting my favorite 'Professor Fassy' image from the Los Angeles Film Festival 2011.

Here is a nice picture of Michael and his mom Adele taken last summer. This week, Michael's co-star in 'Twelve Years a Slave', Sarah Paulson, who plays his wife in the film, was quoted this week saying this about Michael: "[He is] The most spectacular creature". Awwww, ain't she smart! I saw her at TIFF, she's gorgeous and I'm sure she'll be amazing in TYAS too.

**In other news, to any Fassinators who are in the Boston, MA area right now, please be cautious, take care of yourself, and pay attention to the advice of the FBI, Boston Police, and other law enforcement as they zero in on the terrorist suspect currently hiding out in your lovely city. I have been completely mesmerized by the news coverage (via the internet) in the past four hours and that is why the TGIF post has been posted later than usual.

There are more good people in this world than evil people, but the evil people unfortunately can cause a lot of terror and havoc to the rest of us. Be safe!

As these last couple of pictures from Buenos Aires have been posted online, these may mark the last images we'll see of Michael Fassbender from his holiday in the Argentinian capital. He looks happy and handsome doesn't he? As this article reports, principle production work has already begun on X-Men: Days of Future Past in Canada so I reckon that Michael's next flight will be to Montreal.

I had an email conversation with Kelly of Limelight Impressions on Friday and he ordered some V-neck t-shirts immediately after our initial discussion about getting those t-shirts for us to purchase. He received those shirts, but he did not like the quality of them. So he ordered another brand, and he's satisfied with the quality and believes we'll like them too. I greatly appreciate his being concerned about our comfort with the t-shirts. The colors available are not as diverse as the round neck t-shirts, but at least some of that style shirt will be available for you to buy. I don't know about you guys, but I have had some v-neck shirts that lost their v-shape or it hung too low, if you know what a mean. So it's cool that he got a sturdier quality v-neck so that it doesn't look cheap and lose its shape over time. Just as soon as he gets the templates up on the website, he'll let me know, and I'll let you all know.

Update - Here is additional information from Kelly about overseas shipping:
You are correct I do ship overseas, almost all of my overseas customers select the USPS first class shipping I don’t have a time frame for how long it takes, that depends on the customs of the country I am shipping too, but I would say the majority are received in 2-3 weeks more on the 2 week side and the cost is usually less than $10.00, I have seen some internationals ship for as low as $3-$5.  When I ship overseas through the post office, my tracking abilities end when the package leaves the states, that is the only setback to that.  I have only had one shipment that the customer didn’t receive, when she let me know that the shirt hadn’t arrived I made her a new one and sent it, she did receive the second one within 2 weeks.

I pinned this image of Michael at the FF Pinterest board a short while ago. And as I was looking at it, it dawned on me how beautiful he looks in this picture. I have never created a Top 10 Best Pictures of Fassy list, so I have now been inspired by an image that is definitely in the top 5. But I need your help. If you're interested, please email to me, ONE (1) image of Michael that you believe in all your heart, belongs in a top 10  best of fassy list. The only guideline is that said image has to be from a magazine photo shoot, or a clear crisp moment of him on the red carpet. With that said, I guess I already selected mine dammit, I have so many more - but this is where YOU come in. Email me 1 image by 5pm EST Friday, 26 April, and over the weekend, I'll post up the Top 10 best of fassy looks list. Basically, I am looking for nine other images - and I could get 20+ recommendations - that's fine. But it will be up to me to determine which image makes it into the Top 10 list, and in which order. I'm setting myself up as this will be challenging, but very fun. Also, as the images are posted, I'll state: Submitted by X - so your name will go down in glory as having a fine eye for things Fassy. Imagine your name as the image that is number one. If there's a tie, both people's names will be mentioned.

So Fassinators, go through your fassy image files and email me your most favorite beautiful/gorgeous/handsome picture of Michael... and leave it up to the fate of the Fassy Gods that it makes it to the list.

Thanks!

ps. Just to spare my brain cells, I'll delegate a few images to an 'honorable mentions' mini-list of three. :-)

What a great way to close out Fassy birthday month eh?

As a reminder, you have until 5pm EST today, Friday, to email me your selection of a picture of Michael Fassbender that you think should be placed in the 'Top Ten Fassy Hot Pic' list. I've received some great images thus far, all are lovely, but only 10 can make it onto the list. Please don't send images with watermarks, and it should be from a photo session or at a red carpet event. The image can be from as recent as 2013, or as early as 2006. I will post the list on Sunday.

The 'Top Ten Most Glorious Photos of Michael Fassbender' List!

Thank you to everyone who emailed me their favorite image of Michael Fassbender to be considered for our first top ten list of the best photos of Michael. There were over 20 images for me to review, and it was not as difficult as I anticipated. I took a few things into consideration however. I wanted the top list list to feature the chameleon talent of Michael's appearance. Some images he has no facial hair at all and has a short hair cut, another he has longer hair with some slight facial buzz, etc. I also wanted at least one black and white photograph of him included.

After the top ten list, I feature three honorable mention images - the three that I wanted to add into the top ten, but could not. Also, later this week, I'm going to post my personal top five images. There are a few that I'm surprised no one selected, but that's perfectly ok, this just gives me the opportunity to share with you the few images that make me so very happy to be a Fassinator.

So without further adieu, here is the 'Top Ten Most Glorious Photos of Michael Fassbender' list, in ascending order:

Michael as Macbeth (update)

Update: Allow me to preface this by saying that I'm not hating on Natalie Portman, I'm just TIRED of her:

Natalie Portman has been announced as the newest casting to Fassbender's film adaptation of Macbeth where she will play Lady Macbeth. Apparently, due to the terrible drought of talented Caucasian actresses in Hollywood of the past decade, especially those with a natural Scottish or British accent, producers had NO choice but to hire Natalie Portman, read more at IndieWire. /end sarcasm and migraine inducing eye rolling

As reported by Screendaily, Michael Fassbender will take on a most storied Shakespearean role, that of Macbeth, which will be directed by Justin Kurzel. This new role announcement tosses Michael's previously announced roles into a flux of sorts because it is not clear when filming will start on this Macbeth production. I'm sure many of us are familiar with Macbeth, however, the wikipedia page about Macbeth reminds us of the plot, and it is surely going to be something completely fantastic to see Michael in.

Macbeth is a play written by William Shakespeare. It is considered one of his darkest and most powerful tragedies. Set in Scotland, the play dramatizes the corroding psychological and political effects produced when its protagonist, the Scottish lord Macbeth, chooses evil as the way to fulfill his ambition for power. He commits regicide to become king and then furthers his moral descent with a reign of murderous terror to stay in power, eventually plunging the country into civil war. In the end, he loses everything that gives meaning and purpose to his life before losing his life itself.

The play is believed to have been written between 1603 and 1607, and is most commonly dated 1606. The earliest account of a performance of what was probably Shakespeare's play is April 1611, when Simon Forman recorded seeing such a play at the Globe Theatre. It was first published in the Folio of 1623, possibly from a prompt book. It was most likely written during the reign of James I, who had been James VI of Scotland before he succeeded to the English throne in 1603. James was a patron of Shakespeare’s acting company, and of all the plays Shakespeare wrote during James’s reign, Macbeth most clearly reflects the playwright’s relationship with the sovereign.

Macbeth is Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, and tells the story of a brave Scottish general named Macbeth who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan and takes the throne for himself. His reign is racked with guilt and paranoia, and he soon becomes a tyrannical ruler as he is forced to commit more and more murders to protect himself from enmity and suspicion. The bloodbath swiftly takes Macbeth and Lady Macbeth into realms of arrogance, madness, and death. - source: Wikipedia

Tip: Make yourself a cup of tea before you begin...

You may wonder where does my passion for blogging come from, after all, writing for FF is not the only entertainment oriented blog I have ever written for. Way back in 1998 when I lived on the East Coast, I got bitten by the Internet bug when I had to fill in for a gossip-writer friend who was going on her honeymoon and I did two weeks of guest gossip writer at a long defunct pre-historic gossip website. After she came back from her honeymoon, I told her how much I enjoyed writing in her place that I wanted to continue doing it on my own. I had my own gossip website for a couple of years and it hit a peak when I moved from the DC area to New York City, a year later, where I saw a lot, and got cool tips. It wasn't a big website, but I had a cool following. Who knows, had I kept it up, I could now be living it up like Perez Hilton. But 9/11 changed that, I moved back to Michigan, I lost my gossip contacts, and interest in the website. I wrote to my readers in mid-2002 that the current issue was going to be my last and I thanked them for reading me those few years. I even got some mail from people who were upset that I couldn't keep it up. My life in dull ass Michigan was quite different than cool ass Manhattan. However, the gossip bug didn't leave me completely, I just switched gears and watched on the sidelines, and started a fan community on an actor who was popular exactly 10 years ago. However, the basis for this walk down memory lane and revelation is to explain the actual experience I have in detecting bullshit and mean celebrity gossip, from the interesting and probably real gossip. For 15 years, I have had a presence on the Internet writing or engaging in discourse about the entertainment industry and celebrity gossip. While I don't know everything and will never know everything, I do know a lot about the motivations behind the creation of gossip. And for the purpose of this article, I need you to understand this about me.

I have just a few favorite gossip oriented websites that I visit regularly to keep up on the silly scandals of a variety of talent in the entertainment industry. Yesterday, I happened upon a link to a website that I have stopped visiting exactly a year ago. There I read the "reveal" of a scandalous blind item (BI) and the claim of who the person was shocked me and then pissed me off because I know, this is not true. Michael's name was revealed as the blind item celebrity, and out of respect to him, I'm not going to provide the direct link to the website that features the disturbing BI. You will find it on your own, surely, but once you read it, and if you know anything about Michael Fassbender, you would know that this BI is a character assassination of the lowest and tackiest level. The behavior mentioned in the BI is not illegal, it's just gross. What grounds would Fassbender and his people have to sue, I do not know, but, the safety net that affords BIs is that if a celebrity wants to debunk a BI, he or she is basically saying, 'Hey, are you talking about me in that BI? Well, I'm going to have to prove you're wrong and make a bigger stink out of this than there already is'. So, that is why 99.2% of the celebrities who are thought to be the BI person, or is revealed as the BI person, don't do anything. They don't want to make matters worse, and in some cases, they don't want other stuff that may be true, to come to light if they press on a current stupid and irritating BI. And that is the case with Michael. The BI of concern is just so juvenile and skanky, that I hope any true Fassbender fan would dismiss it because it's so laughably fucked up and strange. But sadly, some people will wonder if it's true, and the haters and those who live for Fassbender gossip, will lap it up with pleasure.

Michael can be cute and silly at times, but he's not nasty and skanky.
I will share with you the one gossip site that I visit daily, and it's Blindgossip.com. The reason why I like them is because they make a concerted effort to share BIs that are true, and have credible and believable sources. A year ago, the owner of Blind Gossip discovered that one of their "sources" is a fraud, and there was a write up in the New York Post about it, and since April 2012, Blind Gossip has removed all BIs from that source, and they do not acknowledge that other BI source anymore because it's all lies and shits and giggles with that other source.
Here is what Blind Gossip has to say about the website that has revealed Michael Fassbender as the celebrity of one of their BIs:

Dear Blinders,

We put a great deal of time and effort into writing our original blind items. They may not always be shocking and salacious, but they are authentic and accurate. Even in the world of celebrity gossip, we think it is important to exercise some integrity in discussing real people and their behavior.

Another blogger chose a different path, and, as a result, we need to take action.

You may have noticed that recent items from “Enty” (short for “Entertainment Lawyer”) at CDAN were getting longer, more detailed, and much more shocking. Big-name celebrities were dragged into the discussion, and wild accusations about disgusting acts (r*ape, m*rder, beatings, p*dophilia) were made. Not surprisingly, their website traffic shot up, and the mainstream press started discussing their items.

Following a detailed interview with Enty himself, a skeptical New York Post reporter conducted an independent and thorough investigation of Enty and CDAN.

Here’s what they discovered: Enty is a liar, and the items published on CDAN are lies. The full story from The New York Post is below, and can also be read here.

Given these disturbing facts, we will no longer carry CDAN items on this website.

We sincerely apologize to our readers for the time they may have invested in the past in trying to solve those items. You deserve much better, and we will do everything in our power to deliver original and third-party-sourced content that is both entertaining as well as credible.

Sincerely, Ace - Source
I would rather have the BI website that I dislike be referenced via Ace's note. So now you know which website I'm talking about. What is of importance to note is that the BI that Michael is associated with was posted in September 2012, mere months after the liar behind that website was exposed for making up lies; he shamelessly continues on (but Michael was "revealed" as the BI celebrity on April 27, 2013).  Another thing that is important to be aware of is exactly what Ace speaks of, and that is the motivation behind the creation of ridiculously unbelievable, nasty BIs: it's for website traffic, which equals more advertising dollars, and a higher profile within the mainstream entertainment business. How can anyone take what he writes seriously anymore? Go to the source link above to refer to the other links that further explain the sordid details of this mess, and it is my hopes that when you read that BI that claims it is about Michael Fassbender, you will take it with a mountain of salt, and never go to that website again. To do so is to condone what he is doing there, and that's not cool!

Just yesterday, my blogger friend Jason at My New Plaid Pants, warmly referred to Fassinating Fassbender as "Fassy Headquarters" when he linked his readers to review the Top 10 Glorious Photos. It brought a smile to my face and, I guess it made me proud too. We are "Fassy HQ", I help keep up his wiki, and I try to help keep the bullshit gossip fires so they don't spread and get really nasty. If that makes me fodder to be mocked and ridiculed... then bring it. I guarantee you, I will be the one left standing. I enjoy being a Fassinator and I'm just doing what I as an admin of "Fassy Headquarters" must do.

Irishmen are the Third Ugliest Dudes on Planet Earth...

$

The Fassbender is not part of an ethnic group that is third ugliest on the planet!
According to the blind and conceited nincompoops at beautifulpeople.com. But if you care to go to that website (here), don't waste your time unless you are ~*~BEAUTIFUL~*~ and are a member of that dating website. The Entertainment.ie website discovered the dating site and learned that there was a recent poll that listed Irishmen as the third ugliest men in the world. As you can imagine, they were pissed off, and I'm left scratching my head too. I mean really? The Irish website says that the dating website could "go and shite". Right on! And they also went ahead and pulled out their Fassbender and Farrell cards, and listed a few other rather drop dead gorgeous Irish dudes, namely two beautiful bitches named Colin O'Donoghue, and Aidan Turner. Go check out their show off proof list that Irish men don't deserve to be listed third ugliest men in the world.

Over the weekend at Pinterest, I posted a chat invite for Sunday at 1pm EST to view X-Men First Class. It was up for 24 hours, giving a decent amount of time for people who were interested and available to join, but in the end, it was only me and Barbara. But you know what, it was fine - she and I enjoyed watching First Class together, with six hours time difference between us and we were pretty much in sync in the actual viewing. Next time, I'm going to suggest to set up your DVD/Blu-ray, and freeze it at the opening credits and wait for all to enter so the same scene can be view simultaneously. Because with the more people in the future, the more challenging it will be to make sure we're all in sync. As the film ended, we were joined by Dionne and another person who poked their head in. We chatted a bit longer, but then I had to leave. So, what I would like to do is announce a film chat session at least 4 days in advance, and as long as there are two people that's fine, but the more the merrier, but the limit is at 10. And somehow, I don't think that will be a problem. The chats will occur on Saturdays or Sundays at 1pm EST to accommodate the 5-6 hour difference in Europe where most non-US chatters will hail from.

Thanks for voting in the FF at Facebook poll thus far. Once we get up to 100 votes, I will have a clear cut understanding of how to proceed. So please vote if you haven't yet. And yes, I have voted too. :)

A Fandom Holiday

$

Because of this dude, I'm meeting some great people!
I consider myself very lucky to have generally enjoyed being a part of some fandoms. The one I have been affiliated with the longest is Pearl Jam, and the most interesting one has been the Michael Fassbender fanbase. However, in between these two, I spent a few years in the Lord of the Rings fandom. What do all of these fandoms have in common for me? I have friends from all of them, and I'm going to meet some people from each of these fandoms when I go to London & Paris in just 20 days, some for the first time!
Without boring you with too much details regarding my itinerary, here is the gist of what I'll be doing and with whom. The color codes for PJ, MF, LOTR will represent which fandom my friend is from:

30 May, Thursday (early evening) - depart for London
31 May, Friday - meet up with Marjan (aka Hupsakeek)- dinner at 34 restaurant
1 June, Saturday - Simone & Marjan in Hackney allllllllllllllllllllllll day!!!
2 June & 3 June, Sunday/Monday - Lucinda
4 June, Tuesday - head for Paris, meet up with Sorujaa - intro to Paris, garden walk, and dinner
5 June, Wednesday - breakfast w/ Emilie! spend the day with her doing traditional touristy stuff/Eiffel Tower
6 June, Thursday - I'll be at the Louvre for most of the day - I'm a museum lover
7 June, Friday - still in Paris, shopping, touring
8 June, Saturday - head back to London, hook up with Dee for dinner and a movie
9 June, Sunday - fly back home

So as you can see, I will be with friends almost on a daily basis, and when I'm not, I'll be perfectly well off on my own exploring. Also, prior to me going on vacation, I will have the pleasure of meeting a local Fassinator, Myriam Cronk. She lives near my old neighborhood in a suburb of Detroit, and we're going to meet up for lunch on Saturday, May 18th. We'll easily spot each other because we're going to be wearing our Keep Calm t-shirts when we meet up. After literally focusing on school since July 2012, I have the spring and summer to breathe and relax before my finale in the Fall, and I'm just so happy that I'm going to be meeting some lovely people for the first time, face to face.

Internet fandoms can be a bit strange at times, but for the most part, the participants are very nice people where in some unique cases, they become interested enough in each other to take the next step and meet offline. I'm really looking forward to hanging out with my new and old friends across the pond.

Update: With See-Saw’s Canning, Film4 is developing recently announced Cannes buzz script Macbeth, set to star Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman, and western Slow West - a co-production with Conor McCaughan’s DMC Film - from Pitch Black Heist writer-director John Maclean, which also has Fassbender’s interest and is tentatively scheduled to shoot in New Zealand and the UK at the end of the year. - Screendaily

Thank you for your votes in last Friday's poll asking if you would like to see FF at Facebook. The majority of you voted 'No', so we will not be expanding to Facebook. There were multiple reasons for considering doing so, but you know, I really have to have my own heart in believing in finding true value in that social media tool, and I don't. Sure, it would have exposed Fassinating Fassbender to a larger audience, which has it's pro and cons, but in our fifth year of praising all things Fassy, if people haven't found us yet, they ain't.

Images of Michael Fassbender

What happened this past weekend is the last time such a situation will ever occur again. Short of having the true copyright holder of an image of Michael Fassbender instructing me to remove an image of the actor from Fassinating Fassbender (it's only happened once before), or the private/fan owner of their photo with Michael, I will not remove anymore images from Fassinating Fassbender. Some of you readers got a glimpse of the nasty side of being part of a fandom from comments from one source on Saturday. Let the public record show what transpired and I for one know I handled it as decently and professionally as possible. Fassinating Fassbender is MY blog, it's a fan blog, not a profit earning enterprise, so of course I run the show here! If anyone has any concerns or issues with my management of MY personal fan blog, or need to discuss something, I strongly suggest that you email me - that way you know I will read it because I will respond to you, regardless if it's a mean email or a friendly one. But comments posted here at FF that is attacking me or trying to tell me off or put me in my place, will be deleted. I know some people want to show the world their dissatisfaction with me or FF, and try to hijack a conversation by thinking they have a right to post on my blog their negative sentiments about me or this community. But posting rants and nonsense is not adding to the discussion topic, it's an off-topic rant  - akin to coming into my house, uninvited, to yell at me, that's unacceptable in the real world, and it's unacceptable here and it makes people uncomfortable- (Thank God for supportive FF friends xoxo) and it will be considered spam. So save yourself the time and just send me an email if you really want to get something off your chest to me, about me.

"Two of the finest actors of their generation"

Variety had a brief article about the recent announcement for Macbeth starring Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman. While many Fassinators are feeling 'meh' about Portman playing Lady Macbeth, we're resigned to this casting decision and just greatly look forward to seeing this film because of Michael. According to Variety, this is going to be a hot production because it appears that all the ducks are in the row and settled with the primary casting, producing, financing, directing, distribution, etc. If filming starts by the Fall of this year, dare I expect this version of Macbeth to be at Cannes exactly a year from now? And I already know that Michael is going to be bloody (literally) fantastic as Macbeth, and if the boy can't get Oscar buzz from this, nothing will!

“We are very pleased to be financing ‘Macbeth’ which deftly brings contemporary themes to an iconic story,” said Studiocanal chairman-CEO Olivier Courson.

Canning and Sherman commented: “With Michael Fassbender and Natalie Portman, we have two of the finest actors of their generation, playing two of the most celebrated roles of all time.” - Variety

By the way, to refresh my memory of Macbeth, last week I rented the 1978 BBC production of Macbeth featuring Ian McKellan and Judi Dench. It was a very BBCish production I'll tell you, so it definitely whetted my appetite for what Fassy can do as MacBeth. Which stage or film version of Macbeth is your favorite?

Regarding the poll about which actress you would like to see Michael work with again. Well, I'm sorry that I left off Kelly Reilly from 'Eden Lake'. She was absolutely brilliant in it, and they made a very handsome couple. She's a wonderful actress and she just slipped my mind when I created the poll. So if you want to vouch for her, say 'Aye' here.

Frank is totally going to be bought at Cannes 2013

It's too bad that Michael Fassbender is not at Cannes promoting a film this year (um, the second year in a row, but who's counting?), but The Irish Film Board (website) will be there with a small army of Irish film supporters at their Irish Pavilion selling Irish Films and seeking financing, and 'Frank' is one of them. Take a look at their fancy Cannes Screening Flyer and you will note Frank on page 2, bottom left. With Michael Fassbender's name practically placing him in the A- range on the 'A-List' at the most (at the least, he's a solid B), Frank will surely be one of the Irish films that sell.

I wonder if there will be a moment in Frank where we will see Michael without the Frank head on? Maybe he'll have a quiet moment to himself where he's seen taking it off to go to bed, take a shower, or eating in private. I hope so, I can't imagine the producers not wanting to show a glimpse of that face, can you?

In 15 days I'll be in London and that very weekend, Hupsakeek and I will wander through Hackney. I've been there before, but it was in December, so it will be nice to visit during the late spring and actually lay out in London Fields too and spend much more quality time, and money in Broadway Mkt. Check out the wiki page for Hackney as well as the Hackney council website, and the Hackney area guide from London Time Out.
